Kirsters Baish| I wish I could say that this was all a hoax, but it has been confirmed that Sarah Huckabee Sanders, the White House Press Secretary, is being accused of obstructing justice for (as the dems say) “publicly disparaging former FBI Director James Comey. The former FBI Director was fired last Spring. He then went on to conduct his own political rehabilitation and is working to come up with an even larger issue for the Trump administration. But unlucky for him, Sarah Huckabee Sanders isn’t backing down.
At a recent press briefing, Huckabee Sanders was questioned as to what James Comey did that was illegal. No one expected her answer. She has been defending President Donald Trump tooth and nail in regards to the Russia investigation, and part of her defense has understandably involved picking apart former FBI Director James Comey’s testimony in Congress. She implied that Comey may have actually broken the law when he released documents to the press that he personally made as FBI director. During the press briefing last week, Huckabee Sanders stated, “the memos that Comey leaked were created on an FBI computer while he was the director. He claims they were private property. They clearly followed the protocol of an official FBI document. Leaking FBI memos on a sensitive case, regardless of classification, violates federal laws, including the Privacy Act, standard FBI employment agreement, and non-disclosure agreement all personnel must sign. I think that is pretty clean and clear that that would be a violation.”
Dems in the Senate are under the impression now that Huckabee Sanders will be next to be indicted due to her comments against James Comey.
Democratic Senator Sheldon Whitehouse from Rhode Island appeared on MSNBC this week. He stated that Huckabee Sanders was possibly going to have charges brought against her. The reasoning? He is claiming that she tried to align James Comey’s character to the same grand jury that will be overseeing the Mueller investigation. Whitehouse stated, “the three torpedoes that Sarah Huckabee Sanders shot at James Comey, which open up an entirely new avenue in the case for Mueller. There’s a statute, 1504 in the obstruction of justice statutes, that talks about attempts to influence grand jurors. So the question for Sarah Huckabee Sanders is, ‘Who asked you to do that? Who told you to do that?’ And once you know who it is, you look to their motivation. And if their motivation was to poison the reputation of Jim Comey with grand jurors, you’ve got another count in the indictment.”

The accusation seems like a rather large stretch. After all, Sarah Huckabee Sanders’s job is to protect President Donald Trump. Ultimately, only time will tell what the outcome of this all will be, but I don’t think we have to worry about Huckabee Sanders. She can stand up for herself.
